Book Festival on Washington Post’s “Best of the Weekend” Events List!

The Washington Post’s Going Out Guide listed the “Outside a Dog” Book Festival as one of the best events of the weekend! (“Outside a Dog Book Festival” is what Congressional Cemetery decided to name the dog-friendly outdoor event, after the Groucho Marx quote)

Here are the details–and here. There will be dogs wandering about, a used book swap, writers, the usual incredibly interesting assortment of Capitol Hill residents, and a possible (heaven help us) thunderstorm. Ought to be interesting!

I’ll have white chocolate pretzels at my table, so if you’re not into early 19th century American history, you can always come for those!
